Paranoid dream
"In space, no-one can see your pretty colours, or feel your paranoia"
A rather pathetic yet quasi-interesting map by Megagun
Possibly inspired by Alpha Waves/Continuum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_Waves)
Definitively inspired by Wake6 - http://wakeup.rundumbonn.de/wscm/mapping/wake6.html
Thanks to tarzeau who mentioned this great map yesterday on IRC. :)

So, what's this map?
It's weird, that's what it is.
Using a 729-coloured "palette" of colourful textures, a rather strange room floating in space is created!
Textures: all 1x1 JPG files with names corresponding to the coloured contents, such as FFFFF.jpg.

The textures themselves are placed inside the "PACKAGES/CELLSH" folder, and measure a whopping 204 kilobytes, so not much bloat there.
(Ofcourse the actual space they take on your harddrive is a little big bigger, but this readme isn't a technical documentation of the innards of your harddrive
and the system it actually uses)..

Obviously, this map is a joke, but rather interesting.
It's not a map you play to play, it's a map you play to edit and explore the fundamentals of Sauerbraten lighting and quantum dynami.. nevermind :)
So what you should do:
Play with the textures/colours a bit
Tweak ambient lighting a bit and recalculate lightmaps (/ambient 1 and then /calclight)
Tweak the lights
Tweak geometry
Reposition stuff.
Combine a various mixture of techniques (very vague, isn't it? :D)
etc.

Oh, and ofcourse use the cellsh textureset to create your own colourful "cell-shaded-style" maps! Feel free to use this map as a base for such projects.

Some people like licenses. I do, as they tell you explicitly what you can and can't do with this.
This map is public domain!
Feel free to abuse it, misuse it, show it to your friends and claim your own, edit it until it bleeds, etc.
As long as you have fun in doing it, it's fine. :)

Bottom line:
Have fun!
